

How to Use a Slendertone belt
Instructions
- Step 1
Set up the Slendertone Belt. Add three AAA batteries to the control unit. Remove the three black pads from the package, one square and two ovals, and place them on the back of the belt. You will see silver studs along the back of the belt. The square goes in the center, while the ovals differ in position, depending upon your size. There are three sections where the pads may be placed. Place the two pads in the inner section if your waist size is 24 to 30, the middle if you are 30 to 38 or the outer if you are 38 to 47.
- Step 2
Wear the belt. According to the Slendertone instructions, position "the large square pad over your navel (belly button). Stretch the ends of the belt around your waist until the small pads are between your hip bone and ribs on either side of your body." Use the strap to fasten the belt.
- Step 3
Turn the belt on. Press the on/off button and hold for two seconds. From your perspective, wearing the belt, this button is on the far right. Begin your session by pressing, and holding, the increase toning button until you feel contractions. This button is to the left of the on/off button. A yellow light will blip on, indicating the Slendertone is working. It will go through three phases of intensity, from lightest to strongest, within 25 minutes. If you feel the lowest intensity is not enough, increase the intensity. Press the increase toning button again, and the next yellow light will turn on. If the current setting is too intense, press the decrease toning button. This is the center-left button.
- Step 4
After the workout is complete, the Slendertone will automatically shut off. The Slendertone has three sessions; in between each one, it will stop activity for a few seconds to give your muscles rest. After this relaxation phase is complete, it will begin activity again at a higher intensity.
- Step 5
Switch to the second program. According to the Slendertone instructions, you should apply the second program only after you have used your Slendertone for a consecutive two to four weeks. The intensity of the workout will be the same, however, the second program runs the Slendertone for 40 minutes instead of 25.
